FAQs

How far in advance should I book my Boudoir Session?

I recommend that women have their shoot date scheduled for about a months and a half prior to needing the finished product in-hand. Also, being a one-man show, I tend to book up very quickly. For weekday availability, you should email me to schedule at least a month and a half in advance. Fridays tend to be the most popular time slots and book up the quickest. That said, DON’T WAIT to email me! It’s never to early to get on my schedule. Your photo reveal appointment will be approximately 2 weeks after your photo session, and your finished product (depending on what you order) will arrive between 2 and 3 weeks after that.

Where will my boudoir session take place? Do you have a studio?

Colorado Springs Boudoir has a beautiful natural light studio on E. Bijou Street in downtown Colorado Springs. It’s wood floors, white walls, minimal furniture, no clutter, and more natural light than we know what to do with. Ok just kidding…we know exactly what to do with it! On-location photo shoots are welcome if you would feel more comfortable in your own space, or if you have this ONNNEE place that you are just DYING to shoot at! Scheduling needs to be done a little further in advance, but we love these sessions. On-location shooting is available for a small additional fee! Just ask!

Do you offer hair and makeup?

Professional hair and makeup is part of every session, regardless of which package, collection or à la carte option you choose. Our aim is to showcase your authentic self, so our make-up artists work closely with you to ensure we capture your personal style.

What if I don't look like the women on your website? Can I still book a boudoir session

Waking up and rolling out of bed looking fabulous said no one ever! All of the girls on the website are everyday women just like you. With the use of hair, makeup, lighting, posing, and sexy outfits; we've got you covered! And remember not everyone is comfortable with their photos being online. We photograph many women over 50 and well into the plus sizes. What we promise is that we will create images to flatter YOU. We want to your personality to show.

Is Boudoir Photography for me

Feeling nervous is completely normal! The fun part of the Boudoir experience is that it really is for the everyday woman! We believe confidence is the number one key to getting what you want out of life. A woman plus confidence, watch out! Whether your shoot is for that special someone or simply for your eyes only; you will never regret the end result! We have so much fun with you during the day of the shoot and once you see your amazing pictures, you'll be so happy you did this!
