You’ve seen boudoir sessions before — but they didn’t feel like you.
We won’t create anything stereotypical together. No performance. No posing for approval. No shrinking or exaggerating yourself to fit a mold.
When you collaborate with me, we create intimate portraits through the female gaze — reverent, artful, honest. Images of your sensual self that feel aligned with who you are at your core. What makes you feel powerful. What makes you feel alive. What makes you feel deeply, authentically sexy.
Everything is photographed on 35mm and medium format film. Real light. Real time. A slower process that honors your body as it is — not something to perfect, but something to witness. Some sessions unfold in quiet, intimate spaces. Others happen outdoors for my Goddess Sessions — barefoot in the woods at golden hour, draped in fabric, held by wind and earth. There is something sacred about being seen in nature. It reminds you that you are nature.
An intimate portrait session with me is creative and collaborative. We build an atmosphere where you feel safe enough to be uninhibited, where laughter comes easily, where I’m cheering you on behind the lens as you step further into yourself. You’ll leave feeling powerful, sensual, and completely embodied — like a radical goddess who remembered her own strength.
And you’ll leave with tangible art. Refined, soulful images you’ll feel proud to hang on your walls. Images that still feel true decades from now. Images you would smile at if your grandchildren caught a glimpse one day.
This isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about returning to the woman you’ve always been — and seeing her clearly.
I’m Kristen Hammock — a fine art film photographer based in Durham, North Carolina — and I photograph women through the female gaze: reverent, protective, and honest.
My work is created entirely on medium format film. Real light. Real time. No digital perfection. I believe slowness matters. I believe your body is not something to edit — it is something to honor.
My boudoir and Goddess Sessions are rooted in reclamation. Some unfold in quiet, intimate interiors. Others happen barefoot in the woods at golden hour, draped in fabric, held by wind and earth. These outdoor Goddess Sessions are about embodiment — about remembering that you are nature, not separate from it.
I work with women who are done performing and ready to return to themselves. Mothers, creatives, healers. Women craving something tangible and true.
This isn’t about seduction for the male gaze. It’s about being witnessed in your fullness — and leaving with printed art that becomes part of your legacy.
You don’t become someone new here.
You remember who you’ve always been.
