1. Introduction: What's your story?

Hey, I’m Nicole — Navy veteran, proud wife to an Army retiree, and mom of three. I’m also the heart and soul behind The Boudoir Experience with Nicole Fey Photography, where I help women rediscover their fire and capture it forever.

My studio isn’t just about boudoir — it’s about transformation. It’s where everyday women walk in with nerves and walk out with power, pride, and proof that confidence looks good on them. It always did.

Outside the studio, I’m diving deep into health and healing — from peptide protocols to real talk on self-worth. Life is full, beautiful, and sometimes chaotic… but always driven by purpose.

2. What is your experience shooting boudoir?

I am professionally trained by one of the top boudoir photographers in the business. It is imperative to understand how a woman's body moves and how to accentuate every asset. Of course, I am always learning and trying new things, but I pride myself on having a deep understanding of what women want when it comes to a boudoir session.

4. How should customers prepare for the Boudoir photo shoot?

First to know, no client is alone to figure this stuff out. Every booking comes with my complimentary Prep Guide so women can understand every step with no stress. I also provide concierge-style planning and styling so every question and concern is answered by me and in real- time.

5. Will there be a hairstylist and make-up artist?

Yes! Our in-house stylist, Michelle, is skilled at hair and makeup looks specific to boudoir photography.

6. What do you do to make your customers feel comfortable for the shoot?

It's important to understand that EVERY woman will be nervous. There is no need to brush it off or pretend that a boudoir shoot is a simple choice. It is my job to not only guide but to remind each client how amazing they already are and how there is nothing to fear once they step foot inside the studio. My space is one of comfort, safety, and openness. Every woman is welcome.

7. Are pictures printed or do you provide a digital file?

Based on years of client feedback as well as ease of understanding, every client purchases an all-inclusive photo Collection. What that means is the photos and products, as well as the session and my editing, are included in one price. Each Collection starts with an album, bedside displays and credit for wall art. Clients view their custom slideshow at a separate Reveal & Ordering appointment and choose what to purchase at that time. Albums and other print products are ordered through vetted, professional labs and personally inspected before boutique-wrapping and pick up. Digitals are delivered via private gallery download.

8. What happens on the day?

A typical shoot day looks like this:
10am - Arrive with clean face and hair. Our artist is going to glam you up. And she has everything you need including false lashes to suit your taste.
11:15 - You’re probably finishing up while I'm going through the outfits you brought with you (as many as you like. Outfits are Unlimited). I'm getting creative ideas about which ones work the best on the different photo sets.Then we start.
12:30 - Your confidence grows as you're finding it easier and easier to follow along with me (I demonstrate posing)
2pm- We're laughing a lot by now like we're besties and honestly, it feels that way.
2:30 ish- You did it! We go over the Investment again then we hug it out and look forward to your Reveal next week.

9. Where will the photographs be used?

Nothing is ever used without a client's written consent. My complete Privacy Policy is laid out on my website as well as during booking and at the Reveal appointment. If consent is granted, photos may be used on the website, social media pages, and for promotions like bridal fairs. Clients may even be featured in the studio on printed wall art.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

There is a $250 fee to book. A client may change their mind within 5 days and receive a full refund; no questions asked. Once the session is confirmed, the fee is non-refundable but may be applied toward Collection purchase. This way, every client enjoys a 100% Risk-Free experience.
